Jaguar Land Rover - Occupational Safety Management
In 2016, we were recognized by Jaguar Land Rover for our workplace safety management at JLR construction site located in Itatiaia, Rio de Janeiro State, the first wholly owned JLR plant outside the United Kingdom., We reached the milestone of 1.3 million hours without lost-time accidents, surpassing the performance during construction works for the London Olympics. This performance is thanks to the relationship of trust and partnership established with Jaguar Land Rover since its inception, besides our team’s commitment and Racional’s safety culture.

Albert Einstein Hospital - 5th Safety Oscar
We were recognized with the Best Safety Performance award in the “Partner Company” category in 2019.

Albert Einstein Hospital - HSE Practices
In 2021, Albert Einstein Hospital elected us the best construction company (Gold category) in the 8th HSE and Sustainability Workshop for Service Providers for Sociedade Beneficente Israelita Brasileira Albert Einstein (SBIBAE). We received this award thanks to our good HSE practices.

SECONCI-SP Occupational Health and Safety Award
Since 2012, we have been awarded by São Paulo State Civil Construction Social Services (SECONCI-SP) ten times in different categories. In 2014, Racional CEO, Newton Simões, received the Personality of the Year award.

22nd Occupational Safety Award - Sinduscon-MG and SECONCI-MG
The award highlights companies that presented good health and safety practices in Brazil’s civil construction sector, combined with creative methods that contributed to face public health emergencies resulting from COVID-19. In 2020, we were awarded for the actions undertaken at the Arena MRV project in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais State.

“Fight for Life, Work Without Coronavirus” Campaign”
The campaign is organized by Sintracon-SP and in 2020 we were recognized for our work in combating COVID-19 at our construction sites.

Vitae-Rio Award - Safe Construction, Living Company
The award is organized by Seconci-RJ and we were recognized in 2019 in the Bronze category.

Valor 1000 Award
Best company in the Construction and Engineering industry in 2014. In 2022, we ranked 5th place in the Valor 1000 Award ranking.

Biggest and Best 2019 – Exame Magazine
4th place among the best companies in the Brazilian construction industry.

Best of Dinheiro – ISTOÉ Dinheiro Magazine
In 2021 and 2022, we ranked 1st place in the Best of Dinheiro ranking in the Heavy Construction category. Brazilian Engineering Ranking For years, we have featured in the ranking of the main Brazilian engineering companies according to a survey conducted by O Empreiteiro magazine. In 2022, we occupied the 6th position in the ranking.

Ford Awards
The Ford Q1 Award qualified us from a select group of suppliers to carry out works for Ford internationally. In 2000, three awards were granted to Racional: Gold World Excellence Award, an international ranking among the top service providers in the world; Supplier of the Year Award in the services category; and Ford Brazil Excellence Award for engineering and construction.

Albert Einstein Hospital – Innovation and Excellence
This award was granted by Albert Einstein Hospital in 2020 for the performance of strategic suppliers in several categories. Racional received the Construction Works and Engineering award.

1st Seconci-SP Environment Award
In 2014, we were awarded in the Gold category in the Environmental Management of Site Surroundings (Itaú Technology Center).

Top Ecology Award by ADVB
Racional won the Top Ecology Award 2002 and 2003, granted by the Brazilian Association of Sales Directors (ADVB) for the efforts of its entire team in implementing the Environmental Management Program (PGA).

GRI Awards 2022
Our projects at the Albert Einstein Learning and Research Center and ParkJacarepaguá Shopping Mall were winners in the ESG Project and Shopping Mall categories.

Florianópolis Airport: Best Institutional Building and Architectural Project
Racional built the new passenger terminal and access roads at Florianópolis International Airport and was recognized as the best Institutional Building of the year at the 8th Saint-Gobain Brazil AsBEA Architecture Award, when the work was also the winner in the Architectural Project category. The airport building was designed by the Brazilian architect Mario Biselli. Boulevard 14/32 is a food and entertainment hall located opposite the main entrance to the new terminal. The building was also ranked 2nd place in the Commercial Building category.

8th Saint-Gobain Brazil AsBEA Architecture Award - Best Institutional Building of the Year
Racional’s work on the new passenger terminal and access roads at Florianópolis International Airport was recognized as the best Institutional Building of the year and winner of the Architectural Project category. Racional also ranked 2nd place in the Commercial Building category.

Highlights of the Year - SMACNA Brazil
The Albert Einstein Hospital Learning and Research Center project won in the Work New/Comfort category of the Highlights of the Year Award in 2022.
