The construction took place within the complex without disrupting hospital activities. This demanded caution as regards visual and noise pollution and extensive dust and waste control.
Cutting-edge systems for medical gas distribution were used as well as harmonic filter systems and DSI alarms to power critical equipment.
Antistatic floor was installed in the surgical area. All corners of the room used a unique construction system to avoid sharp edges. The corners were rounded to avoid proliferation of bacteria.
The white aggregate facade was made from pre-cast concrete allowing for greater quality control and reduced project delivery time.
A specific study was carried out for noise reduction. Aluminum and absolute filters were used in critical areas. Another important item was the development of the lighting design to ensure efficiency and comfort for all environments.
This is another groundbreaking project undertaken by Racional which overcame major logistics and technology challenges.
